FAQ


Will i need a guitar to start lessons?

Yes, all students should have either an electric or an acoustic guitar, to begin lessons.
You can start on either an electric or acoustic, in the case of an electric guitar an amplifier will be supplied for the lesson.


Is there anything I need for lessons?

All students are provided with a guitar manual & flip file with registration. A plectrum must accompany the student to every lesson. It is advised that a student invest in an electronic tuner and a capo.


Can we have a trial lesson to see if I want to learn the instrument I am interested in?

Yes, you may.  This may be arranged after your meet & greet session with Roger.


What’s the youngest age a person can start guitar lessons?
We teach pupils from ages 8 and older. You may however contact us if your child is younger.


Do I need to start learning on an acoustic guitar?

You can start on either an electric or acoustic.  For smaller children we recommend the ukulele to start.  In the case of an electric guitar an amplifier will be supplied for the lesson in class.

Can I learn a specific style of music? Like blues/country/rock/metal?

The lesson will be specifically shaped for the pupils musical needs
